Welcome to the 2022-2023 KMHA House League season. U7 is for young players under the age of 7.
In U7, our kids will:
- have fun
- learn basic hockey skills
- build confidence
U7 on-ice sessions are based on fun game activities that focus on the skills of skating, puck control, passing and shooting.
Keith and Cindy are convenors, who are responsible for the daily operation of U7 program. We look forward to contributing to a successful season for all of this seasons’ players and volunteers.
Feel free to contact us at: email@example.com with any questions and concerns.
For New Parents (please read and take action)
Respect in Sport:
At least one parent or guardian from the participant’s household must take the online “Respect in Sport Parent Program” if they are “NEW” to HEO. If you have previously completed the course in another HEO District, you do not need to complete it again.
KMHA would prefer this requirement by completed by September 1st, 2022. If the course is not completed by the end of September 9th, the player will not be allowed to participate any further until the requirement is met.

All players are required to dressed in full equipment while on the ice. The following is a list of required hockey equipment:
|Jock (boys) or Jill (girls)||Shin Pads|
|Hockey Socks||Hockey Pants|
|Shoulder Pads||Elbow Pads|
|Neck Protector/Neck Guard||Practice Jersey|
|Helmet and Facial Protector (CSA-Approved)||Hockey Gloves|
|Water Bottle||Hockey Skates|
|Hockey Stick||Mouthguard (Recommended Only)|
For new players, it recommended that you practice ahead of time at home putting the equipment on, so you do not feel rushed on the first day.
When purchasing your child’s equipment, it can be purchased from any store that sells hockey equipment. However if you require assistance with ensuring proper sizing and fit , it is highly recommended that you go to a store that deals in sporting goods (ie. Canadian Tire, SportChek, Pro Hockey Life, Play It Again, Sports, etc.) where the employees can help you out.
