Competitive Hockey versus House League Hockey
Competitive hockey has Tryouts– House league hockey has Sort Outs
Competitive hockey (depending on the division can be on the ice up to 4 times per week, and possibly dryland training). House league hockey , you will have 1 practice and 1 game per week typically)
Team Fees- Competitive Hockey
Competitive hockey team fees – upon making a team – team fees can vary from $800-$3000.00 – This will be presented in your first team meeting at the start of the season. These extra costs will cover tournaments, dry land training, extracurriculars, etc.). This is above and beyond the fees you pay for registration. These fees are mandatory and must be paid in the payment schedule outlined at the start of your season by the team coach and team manager. There is no option to opt out of TEAM FEES.
It is important to note that for Competitive Hockey every birth year has its own division (with the exception of U18 with includes 2 birth years)

It is important to note that all House League hockey has team fees on top of your registration fees – upon being placed on a team – team cost can vary from 0- $400.00 (these extra costs will cover tournaments, dry land training, extracurriculars, etc.). This is above and beyond the fees you pay for registration. These fees are mandatory and must be paid in the payment schedule outlined at the start of your season by the team coach and team manager. There is no option to opt out of TEAM FEES.
It is important to note that for House League Hockey a division includes multiple birth years
(U7 is made up from 3 birth years, U9 is made up from 2 birth years, U11 is made up from 2 birth years, U13 is made up from 2 birth years, U15 is made up from 2 birth births, U18 is made up from 3 birth years)
