Vaccination Policy/Stance for 2022-23 Season
As previously announced back in March 2022, the HEO has rescinded its proof of vaccination and active screening requirements in regards to COVID-19. Currently, there are no plans to reinstate these requirements.
The KMHA would like to emphasize that all programs, regardless of level, are ultimately required to adhere to all public health, municipal and facility policies, and directives, if more restrictive than the current provincial guidelines.
Please remember, hockey, operates within the larger community and as such restrictions may be imposed by various entities (ex. government, public health unit(s), facilities, municipalities, etc.) and/or HEO itself. Regardless, it is strongly encouraged to consider getting vaccinated.

Finally, the KMHA recognizes that whether an individual chooses to get vaccinated or not is a personal choice. The KMHA has, and will continue to have, a zero-tolerance policy for any form of harassment or bullying as it relates to any individual’s personal choice on this matter.
