CONVENOR MESSAGE

Welcome to the 2025-2026 U11 House League Season!

Dear U11 House League Players, Parents, and Guardians,

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 2025-2026 U11 hockey season with KMHA! Whether you're a returning player or new to our community, we are thrilled to have you with us. Our goal is to ensure every player has a fun, rewarding, and skill-building season. As always, we will sort players into A, B, or C divisions to ensure balanced and competitive teams. To kick things off, we will have four ice times before evaluations begin to get those skates moving, followed by formal evaluations to place players appropriately.

A Bit About Me

My name is Meghan, and I'm excited to serve as your U11 Convenor this season. I'm a proud hockey mom to Lizzy (13) and AJ (8), and we share our home with two cats and my supportive husband, Joe, a former KMHA coach and player. My journey with KMHA began when Lizzy was in IP (U7), where I volunteered as the team treasurer and caught the "hockey bug". While Lizzy eventually pursued her passion for gymnastics, AJ joined hockey four years ago, and I dove back in as a trainer for his U7 team. Since then, I've taken on roles as Trainer, Assistant Coach, and Goalie Coach for U9 over the past two years. This season, I'm thrilled to expand my horizons as the U11 Convenor. I look forward to meeting new members and reconnecting with familiar ones at the rink!

Whether it's helping on the bench, managing team logistics, or supporting off-ice activities, every contribution makes a difference.
