Sort Outs

Over 3 consecutive weekends, each player will be assigned a specific time for skills and games evaluations. After the first Sort Out weekend Ice times for all remaining Sort Outs will be available on the KMHA website and can be found using the player ID number that has been emailed to each player along with their first ice time(skills).

The sort outs will be unbiased.  We will balance the teams within each level (A, B & C) to the best of our ability.  We will not permit friend requests to influence team composition and/or to potentially create an imbalance.  Evaluations of each player will be done by a number of evaluators who will provide feedback and recommendations for sorting.

Team Volunteers

Please note that all team volunteer positions are subject to a completed policy check

http://kmha.ca/risk-and-safety/police-checks/

Police record checks are valid for 3 years

Team volunteers are also required to complete the Speakout course (at no cost to you) as well as the Gender Identity course (ADD LINK FOR THIS ONE TOO)

After Sort Outs

The House League Coordinators will select a head coach for each team no sooner than the end of the second weekend of sort outs.  We will attempt to place qualified assistant coaches, trainers and managers on each team list. If you would like to be considered for a head coaching position, please let me know as soon as possible.

Throughout the Season

Atom A will interlock with Nepean after Christmas break.  Atom B & C will not interlock.

Each team will be required to have affiliates from the level below to ensure a full bench at all practices and games.

Each team should receive 2 ice times per week.

Should you have any questions or concerns regarding the upcoming season, or would be interested in volunteering, do not hesitate to contact us at atomconvenor@kmha.ca

Looking forward to a great season!
