The Ice Crushers go 4-0 for their first Tournament Championship

While three Kanata Novice A house teams battled it out in Napanee, the Kanata Novice A2 Ice Crushers went much farther to compete in Lindsey Ontario at the annual Mariposa House League Hockey Tournament.

The Ice Crushers crushed the competition going 4-0 for their first Tournament Championship.
A tournament won by a team, playing a team game, playing for their friends, and cheered by their families in the stands.

A ruthless forecheck, a determined backcheck, a team commitment to defense from the goalie out lead to all the big wins and happy faces.  Its not often a team has no passengers, especially over four games, but looking up and down the players bench the coaches were so proud of each players commitment to the teams goals.

While each game saw different players step up overall it was the team play (not individual) that won the weekend.

Come cheer on the Kanata Novice A2 Ice Crushers December 15-17 at their next tournament at the Kanata BellSensplex.
